Medford Railroad Park

At the Medford Railroad Park, there are plenty of things for the family to do. The main attractions are the 7.5" gauge trains that you can ride, affectionately known as "Steamers".
Also, the Rogue Valley Model RR club holds an open house at the park, during this same time, as well as the Southern Oregon Large Scale Train club.

Updated 09-29-09 I revisited the Railroad Park after several years. Many things have changed and grown for both the Southern Oregon Live Steamers Club and the So. Ore. Chapter Natl Rail Historical Society

Kids and adults love to ride the trains at the park. Here are some Highlights of a typical day at the park riding the rails with the Southern Oregon Live Steamers Club

One Rough Day. New page with great close ups of the 7.5" gauge steam and "diesel" powered locomotives. (thumbnails, 9-pics)
This page has the local National Rail Historical society's Restoration project of a 1925 Willamette steam locomotive.
Updated 04-27-09 A trip to the park wouldn't be complete without paying a visit to the large HO model train layout housed in the annex, home of the Rogue Valley Model RR Club.
